Saipua

Saipua, “Soap” in Finnish, is a family-run homestead and school in Esperance, New York. The Saipua floral design aesthetic inspired a cult following and an entire movement in arrangements rooted in a wild and untamed sensibility. The identity required a tone that would read as storied and evocative yet polished and organized in a way that could live in tension with the earthier character of the farm and its products. Quiet expanses of negative space and gilded typographic touches introduce a sense of restrained indulgence, foregrounding the tactile nature and sensory aspect of experiencing the fruits of the farm.
