Porto is an independent accessories brand, devoted to the art and ease of a life in motion. Self-described as “a study in travel: each move a form of exploration and each day an array of textures, impressions, and experiences…Porto takes its name from its Latin form, Porto/Portare, meaning “I carry” and “to carry,” which is related to the Greek word Peiro, “I traverse.” For the Porto brand, an identity system centers around a timeless serif wordmark, beautifully embossed into soft Italian leathers, complemented by an economical and elegant secondary type system. A soft and reductive palette further espouses the brand’s attitude of quiet gracefulness and understated luxury.
