A serpentine “Snake Eyes” is both the collection name and evocative exhibition title for the newest body of work by the furniture design studio Egg Collective.

Shapeshifting between these two expressions, the title is layered with meaning for the design trio as they explore a trove of motifs surrounding the themes of luck, chance, emergence and renewal, and for the latent potential within objects to connect us to time, place, and memory. The exhibition also marks the design studio’s eleventh year anniversary. In various print and digital contexts, the generative text treatment unfolds into sight before slithering into another, spellbinding form.
